Welcome to Centre Esplanade
Located in the heart of Biel, Centre Esplanade is our newest self- developed building complex. Right next to a group of existing buildings, several new buildings have been added to the site. Architecture
The six-story corner building was constructed using a skeleton frame structure. The large window openings give the building a modern and functional appearance. It makes a confident architectural statement along Alexander-Schöni-Strasse and marks the beginning of the perimeter block development.
Floors
Due to the structure of a skeleton building, the building has a floor plan that can be designed completely freely. On the ground floor, there is retail space, adjacent to Zentralstrasse 63 and Alexander-Schöni-Strasse.
Building services
The entire development is connected to the district heating and cooling network, which makes it possible to generate energy in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. All floors are mechanically ventilated and cooled. The floor convectors integrated into the ground floor heat the surfaces in winter and cool them in summer. In the upper floors, the floor heating provides heat in winter and cooling in summer. The photovoltaic system installed on the roof makes a significant contribution to the environment and to sustainable energy generation.
Fit-Out
The usable areas can be built according to our customers’ ideas and operational requirements. The room layout is done with a flexible wall system. Customers can determine the floor coverings and other materials within the usual framework.
