Welcome to Centre Esplanade

Located in the heart of Biel, Centre Esplanade is our newest self-developed building complex. Next to a group of existing buildings, several new constructions have been added to the site. Completed in 2023, the complex hosts a mix of residential and commercial spaces. Architecture

The impressive design of the facade at the Esplanade Kongresshaus 15 draws its inspiration from the urban continuation of the neighboring building complex east of the Centre Esplanade. The arcade running along the building adds a distinctive charm to the development. The building serves as a connecting element to the adjacent property at Alexander-Schöni-Strasse 24 / Gartenstrasse 34. The entire ensemble is a perimeter block development with an inner courtyard.

Floors

The building is home to the 4-star Courtyard by Marriott hotel with a total of 104 rooms and suites. The rooms are modernly furnished and offer a high level of comfort. The heart of the hotel is located on the entrance level: a bar and a restaurant with excellent cuisine for the best hours of the day in a luxurious atmosphere.

Building services

The entire property is connected to the district heating and cooling network, enabling sustainable and environmentally friendly energy use. All hotel rooms and main areas are mechanically ventilated and cooled. The photovoltaic system installed on the roof makes a significant contribution to the environment and to sustainable energy generation.

Fit-Out

The lobby with its many wooden elements and bright colours creates an inviting and cosy atmosphere. The check-in, waiting area, lounge, bar and restaurant are housed in a single large salon, creating a unity of different zones with flowing transitions. The modern rooms are characterised by their elegance. The light wood veneer and soft colour tones visually enlarge the rooms. The discreet lighting, cosy furniture and furnishings complete the charm of the rooms.
